Last month, I received another great shipment of wine from Gold Medal Wine Club's Gold Series. And as usual, I was impressed.
Each month, I get a delivery and I want to document them via photos, so you see what a typical month looks like when you buy the Gold Series from Gold Medal Wine Club. (See our review of the Gold Medal Wine Club, including links to the reviews of all of their available wine clubs.)
Read on for more about this shipment.
This delivery is the Gold Series (their most popular and most economical) for June 2015. Within it, I receive 2 bottles of wine and my delivery selection was 1 red and 1 white. Price you'll pay per shipment: $37-$39 plus shipping.
As usual, the shipment arrived at my house in a nondescript box by FedEx. (In order to successfully deliver the package of wine, FedEx had to come back to my house a few times, since I wasn't home to sign for it.) The included “Tasting Notes” was the first thing I saw and the bottles were safely packed in the styrofoam packaging.
NOTE: Take a look at the picture below, and notice the full color, high-production value publication that is behind the two bottles of wine. It's called the “wine press” and is their “tasting notes”. I put “tasting notes” in quotes because this publication is so much more than just a description of the wine and the flavors you'll find within each bottle. It's a full-on mini-magazine that comes with each shipment, and is one of the things that I really love about this club.
